I feel a peace and serenity that had been missing for a long time. I didn’t realize I had been operating in an obsessive cycle of “I must forgive because God wants me to”.
A huge weight has been lifted because I experienced rigorous honesty and forgave because it is healthy for me. It is so freeing to not feel guilt and shame because I fall short! God will meet me right where I am.
I have re-gained my sense of purpose.
